Art has always been a love of mine. I’ve enjoyed many artistic endeavors, but it wasn’t until the last decade that I discovered I could combine my love of photography and pastel painting.

HISTORY
Earlier years
My early training included attending the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale in the commercial art program. The photography training there benefited me in my work as a custom printer in several large commercial photo labs.
Expanding experience
Working with color and composition gave me a unique perspective for seeing an interesting painting in an excellent photo, and I continue to use my photos as guides for my paintings.
Current times and travels
Working I have enjoyed creating paintings from Africa, Thailand, Denmark, Japan and North Woods of Wisconsin. My quest for the perfect photo is as rewarding as the painting itself.
